Duran Duran: Awful sound & lighting
"We were thrilled to witness Peter Bjorn And John perform live, however, the stage lighting and sound were horrendous. The white spotlights were glaring, shining directly into our balcony seats. These lights were on constantly, making it difficult to even see the musicians. The sound quality was subpar, excessively loud which led to distortion. Despite their stellar album performances, the live sound was a letdown. The opening act's sound was even worse, painfully loud and distorted. My husband tried wearing two sets of earplugs but still found it unbearable. We had to retreat to the lobby until the show ended.
As frequent concert attendees, we have experienced many excellent performances at the DPAC.
While we still admire Peter Bjorn And John, improvements in sound and lighting are crucial for future shows. Otherwise, attending another concert by them is out of the question."
